            Throughout our life learning is a crucial aspect of career development because it helps in building skills for an individual to grow as a professional and advanced professionals help them win points with theirs employers. Most of us never get time to continue our education, and this is where online courses plays a vital role.

        These websites provides you online courses that allows you to reap the benefits of your education from the comfort of your home and your pace. We all are aware of COVID-19 and are experiencing lockdown hence a large portion of us got time, during this lockdown most of us would have thought of gaming, reading books, spending time with family, many would have be under work from home as well...! 
Some would have also thought about enrolling online courses, But here arises few questions where to enroll? or which site is best? Is there any free online courses available?- Well!, you are at right place. 
Below you’ll find five websites that provide online courses which allow you to pick up new skills and succeed in the workplace. I will discuss in detail about the courses.

    1.PIRPLE

      Pirple is a website that provides online courses with certifications. Pirple offers many online courses, but today I'm gonna share about a course "FRONT-END FUNDAMENTALS". Pirple offers one course for free and that is frontend fundamentals. In this course you will be learning about basics of HTML and CSS, how to use them effectively in order to create a effective webpage and how to give animations for your page. Interesting part is they will assign a project as final assessment by which you will be tested.

    I know what you are thinking now, Yes! your are right!, you will not be attending any exam at the end of course...! but remember, you will be given assessment at the end of every module.

      Are you a person interested in learning about data science using Python, R programming and so on..? Have you heard about "COGNITIVE CLASS", Cognitive class powered by IBM is a site through were we can enroll online courses with certifications which is for free and for paid. Cognitive class provides "DATA SCIENCE and COGNITIVE COMPUTING" courses indeed.  This site provides machine learning using python, cloud computing, block chain, and so on. They provide course for beginner and intermediate. 
    Are you scared about basics? Well their courses covers basics as well.

    I know what is running in your mind..! Should we attend any exams at the end or is it like priple with no exams?.. Honestly, cognitive have final exam.
And now, Heads-up guys in-order to get your certification you will have to secure 70% or above. I have got my certification by exploring "Machine learning using Python", how about you...!

      Future Learn is site that offers many self paced online courses. They offered courses for Business and management, Arts & media, IT & computer science, and so on. 
Future Learn also provided some interesting courses like Digital skill on Artificial intelligence , Learn to code for web which covers HTML & CSS, computer programming for everyone and lot more.

  To talk about future learn in detail, The course offered by them are of new skills with flexible time. There are microcredentials and programs from which you earn professional and accreditation. Future learn also offers online degree, So why waiting, go ahead and enroll your favorite course and to enrich your career.


    4.UDEMY 

      Udemy is a most popular online learning platforms and is the best place for millions of professional who are interested in advancing their career. Udemy offers more than 45,000 courses in various sectors like marketing, coding, finance and so on...

What’s important to note is that Udemy is not an accredited organisation, it means that you won’t be able to get certified for the courses you take, but many of the instructors are experts in their fields, it means that a course from Udemy will be very useful and provide a lot of information. Fact is, Udemy offers course which are of affordable prices. That sounds great..! 



     5.COURSERA  

        Coursera is one of the most vibrant platforms in online learning. More than 25 million learners have trusted this organisation with their education needs, while the site’s partnership with 149 universities gives it a prestige.

    Online classes here vary depending on what you want and they can generally be distinguished into three types: courses, specializations and degrees. To complete a course you’ll generally need four to six weeks, while specializations take longer and need half a year to complete. Online degrees operate in collaboration with some of the best universities in the world and require a couple of years to complete. You can also enroll and audit the course for free and they also provide any time cancellation as well.

    Learning can help to achieve goals and a professional to improve their career. 
you need to identify what skills you need to improve and find the sites that suits you.

     These websites provide certifications which can be shared to your social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter etc. You can also add it to your resume to make it unique.

  2. By far UDEMY is my favourite! I gained a lot of digital illustration skills from there. My major used to be computer science and programming and all of that but I realised that my passion is inclined towards the creative industry.
